My Current Parasite Cleansing Protocol

A lot of people have been asking me the parasite cleansing protocol that I have been following! This is what I have been doing the last six weeks based on my own research. I have started working with Modern Holistic Health in Austin, TX and we will what sort of protocol they put me on based the results from my blood panel and Organic Acids Test. I also have results from Viome and uBiome that I purchased prior to working them, so that will give them even more info.

As I’ve mentioned before, it is rare to have JUST parasites without some sort of other gut infection. Gut infections make you weak and susceptible to parasites…and parasites make you weak and susceptible to gut infection. Either can come first, but it’s important to know they often go hand in hand. And by gut infection this could be SIBO (small intestine bacterial overgrowth), candida overgrowth, h.Pylori, or any other number of bacterial, viral and/or fungal infections. Once we get the full scope my situation, we will tailor the best protocol for me.

So that being said, below is what I’ve found to be an all-encompassing generic parasite cleansing protocol that has really helped get things started in a healing direction.

Mind you, I’ve done parasite clenases in the past with not nearly the results I’m getting now. I honestly just have put full trust in the universe that I wasn’t meant to heal at those other times, and now is finally time. I first tried a cleanse Febraury 2014 and never saw anything (read here for my story on how all my digestive issues started with a bad hot dog). Then last year, 2018, I probably did four rounds of cleansing using Organic Olivia’s parasite cleanse. I did two back to back rounds earlier in the year, and then two back to back rounds end of the year. I did see a lot of flukes, and a 6” parasite…but NOTHING compared to what I’ve been seeing lately. I think Olivia’s herbs are great, but I think this time around I’ve been taking the diet more seriously and adding in a few other things.

So without further adieu…here’s the protocol I’ve been following! (Remember, this is what I’ve come up with based on my own research, but please do your own research and consult a holistic practitioner that specializes in parasites as needed. This is of course not intended to be medical advice.)


  • Mimosa Pudica Seed: 2 capsules, 2xday on an empty stomach. If you are sensitive to herbs and things, start with 1 and work your way up.

  • Black Walnut/Wormwood Tincture: 3 dropperfulls, 3xday on an empty stomach

  • Grapefruit Seed Extract (excellent antimicrobial): 3xday on empty stomach

  • Cilantro Extract (great for detoxing): One dropperful, 3xday on empty stomach

  • Turmeric Extract: One dropperful, 3xday on empty stomach

  • Chorella: 1/2 tsp, 2-3xday on empty stomach

What I do is take all of the above (aside from the Mimosa Pudica), and combine in a shot glass with tbls apple cider vinegar and a little water and shoot it back before meals. It is DISGUSTING, just FYI. The chlorella makes it taste the worst in my opinion, so buy chlorella tablets if you want. I do this before each meal to make sure I get it in 3 times a day. I’ll do this anywhere from 10-30 minutes prior to eating.

  • Digestive Enzymes - this has made a big difference in how I feel after eating. I am digesting WAY better. I haven’t had the stomachaches after eating

  • Pepsin/HCL - this has also helped a ton as well! Having strong stomach acid helps us from preventing and fighting off future parasites we come in contact with. Personally, I currently believe that supplementation is a short term solution to figure out to boost stomach acid naturally. Although I haven’t done enough research on it yet to really know.


  • Eliminate alcohol, sugar, dairy, grains, processed foods. I will be authentic and say that I have cheated a few times in a very small way, but I think that really adhering to the diet has helped make a bigger impact than my previous cleanses

  • Add in PUMPKIN SEEDS!!! Also things like garlic, cayenne, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, ginger and oregano are great… Pumpkin seeds and ACV are the only ones that I’ve been die hard at incorporating. The rest have been in and out of my diet naturally.


  • Coffee Enemas - this is not mandatory, but it really is haha. Here’s a link where you can ready more about how it works and instructions. Below is the enema kit I have

  • Garlic Enemas - I’ve done a few garlic enemas, but something in my gut tells me not to do this one too much…not sure why. The link above explains garlic enemas as well

  • Focus on your elimination pathways! Drink TONS of water and make sure you are pooping! This is how they are eliminated. Also be sure to support your liver/bile duct! Milk Thistle and Dandelion are great for this.

  • Infrared Saunas and dry brushing are great for your lymphatic system. So is rebounding! I have a mini trampoline I jump on everyday (which also helps with bowel movements), but I’m sure jumping in place would be great too.
